Its NOT for a daily driver, mine work fine and all put people forget they are on there and the hinges frequently get abused. The assist shocks wear out after a few months and have to be replaces every so often (to do this you have to remove the fenders and on the cadillac this means you have to remove the hood and front bumber also to get the fenders off!) Make sure it is a good quility kit like GTfactory they have bushings you can replace when they wear out, if they dont have bushings then when things wear out the entire hinge is shot.
I do not fear what the future holds for me, I am not afraid to die.
