Thats why I like to work on my own cars. Most mechanics are used to regular cars and think Z's arent just like any other car and as soon as they fix what you wanted fixed they say the car is ready and they just want their money and you out their hair. My uncle had a 2002 Altima and the timing was off so we took it a mechanic and it worked good for about 1 day then we took it to a different mechanic and they said that the valves where bent because of bad timing =( So we had a whole swap with a 2 year warranty and now the tranny is out =(. Moral of the story is get a written guarantee if you are taking it to an average mechanic or just spend some more and take it to a dealer and have less to worry about.
