2004 Toyota Tacoma, 4 cyl, auto, 4WD, SR5 package low miles
2 yr powertrain warranty First vehicle I ever bought from a dealer because I could not find what I wanted from a private owner. Searched on Internet. Drove > 1h to Emmaus, PA. I brought $14,000 bank check with me. Sticker price was $19,995, "marked down" for year-end inventory clearance to $18,995. I plopped the bank check down on the salesperson's desk and started from there. We did the dance, manager came out from the back room once. I walked out of the dealership when they would not take $16,500. I went to Lehigh Valley Mall (not bad), ate dinner at Lone Star (pretty lame), made sure NOT to drink any alcohol so as to keep my wits about me. Called the sales guy back from the mall and made a last chance offer of $17,000 out the door, including tax, tag and title. Told him I was driving back to Harrisburg and that I wouldn't look back. He accepted. I put the balance on my debit card.

There are little jump seats in the back. Truck is considered "Extended Cab" with two doors. I have no idea how that little "table" with the two holes under the far seat is supposed to be used. I have already begun the mod process. I drove over to the local dealer today to look at their accessory catalog. They had an OEM hood protector in stock. I talked the parts guy down 10%. Was supposed to be a quick and easy screw-on app, but turned into a half-day project that included Super Glue and a heat gun, lolam.
Immediate plans: bed liner and black powdercoated tubular step rails. Open to suggestions on what brands would be good for those upgrades. Thanks for looking.
