My dad and i were in his "new" infiniti Q45 coming back from a long road trip on I30, near commerce, we were going almost 70 and a sudden downpour hit. The tires were just so so, they weren't bad, but could be better. Well, we hit a large pocket of water in the road and lost control, spun, i think aproximately 5 to 6 times (mind you we were going 60-70ish), down into the ditch/median, up onto oncoming HIGHWAY traffic, back into the ditch and up on the side of the direction we had been traveling. i uttered more swear words than i think i've ever uttered in the 30 second period that it took to happen. We had the car towed out of the ditch, and drove the rest of the way home. Damage? scraped the underbody on the front a little, pushed in the passenger side fog lamp and the next day the front two tires aired themselves out. hence why i only drive my z when it's dry and own an SUV with good tires and drive that on days when the weather sucks. it was by far the most mortifying experience of my entire life....but hey, at least i am alive to tell the story.
