Message Take a look at what 90-95 Corvettes/Mustangs/Camaros, you know, the "well advertised" cars that every hick knows about, sell for. They sell for even less than our cars, with exception being the Corvette...FAR less. They hold FAR less of their value and it has NOTHING to do with advertising, it has everything to do with supply vs demand.

I'm going to assume by your ignorance that you are too young to remember the press the 300ZX received when it was new. It was REVOLUTIONARY. It was most certainly seen as kicking Corvettes and Porsches in the pants, and it sold like crazy the first couple of years until the sportscar market utterly and completely died.

The general public doesn't recognize our cars because the general public has no attention span whatsoever. Nissan could have spun doughnuts in each and every person's front yard in 1995 in a 300ZX and ran over their dog and they'd have still forgotten about it a week later.

So please just stop with all the fallacious reasoning behind why 300ZXs don't bring a price that YOU think they should bring. You could not be more wrong, and it just perpetuates misconception amongst others who in turn get all up in a tizzy when they can't get $25k for their 100k+ mile 300ZX.

SUPPLY vs DEMAND

It is not that difficult a concept, and it has been beaten into the ground more times since I have been here than "Can I turbo my non-turbo Z?"

If you are so adamant about raising the value/prices of Z's, then do something productive and crash yours or drive it into a lake.
