Message Did you manage to get a look at the driver? Was he/she looking at you (i.e. was the whole thing intentional, or was the other driver just a clueless idiot?)?

Here's a coincidence:
Yesterday afternoon I was driving home on a local freeway in the #1 lane. I was following the car in front of me at a safe distance, and I noticed in the #2 lane there was a little beater VW pickup riding the ass of the car in front of him. As I approached, I thought "that guy's gonna come over on me, and he doesn't have room 'cause he'll never match my speed that fast". Sure as hell, over he came. I laid on the horn, slammed the brakes and we just missed each other. I was PISSED! To give an idea of how close we were, we were already starting to overlap when he made his move. If I hadn't anticipated the possibility of his lane change by watching his prior behavior, we would've wrecked for sure. I gestured to him what I figured his IQ to be (he was oblivious to that, too), and when I had the opportunity I punched the TT around him on the right and got in front of him. For a fleeting moment I forgot I wasn't in my old lifted monster 4x4, and just as I started for the brake pedal I snapped back to reality. Using the Z to brake check the hell out of a POS VW truck with a complete dumbass at the controls wouldn't be too smart, so I took off. It's times like this when we have thoughts of little cups of nails tucked under the back of the car with a pull string leading up to the passenger compartment...
