100 degress today! My Z left me stranded for the first time EVER. Jump start got me going, but if I turned on the headlamps the HICAS light on the dash would come on. Limped home. Pulled out the old volt meter, and at idle, 14.3 volts. So it is charging. Turned the car off, 11.2 volts. :( Seem that the battery is not holding a charge. Battery stats: 50 month Interstate 460 CCA 575 CA model 24F-50 Installed March 1996! So it's 63 months old. Popped the caps, and all are low. Should I just top off with distilled water, get it started, and let it be. Should I get it going, and find an Optima? Or should I just replace the battery now with whatever I can find in the morning? Also, on a few accasions (less than 10) when starting the car (5-sp), the starter motor doesn't engage, and it just *zings*, for lack of a better term. I was dreading a bad flywheel, or starter. Could this be related to the weak battery?? Thanks,
