Message year on my 94TT using an OEM "clutch kit", I noticed that the spring holders on the friction disc were a much better design (stronger "pockets" to support the springs and larger springs) than on the previous OEM friction disc I installed a couple years ago. I had to change the clutch this year because one of the springs broke out on the friction disc due to a broken pocket that holds the spring.

From review of the OEM TT clutch kit on Coz's website, and from a link to a clutch kit in a response to Blackholez' post (about 40 down), it looks like there are at least 2 different friction disc designs available for the "OEM clutch kit".

I'd like to share 2 photographs of each friction disc to show the significant design change of the pockets that hold the springs (if this is an interest to anybody?).

If you are looking at purchasing an OEM clutch kit I can email the pictures to you, or if anybody is willing to post the two pictures here on TT.Net I can email them to you for posting.

I apologize for asking for help to post pictures, but I am not set-up yet on this PC to post any pictures.

Regards, Jim
