Message To say "the largest, heaviest rotating masses have by far the greatest effect on acceleration and handling" is entirely too simplified to be valid. That implies the entire weight of the chassis is trivial compared to the combined weight of wheels, tires, and brake discs - an obvious fallacy. To make this point, you need to do the math. Formulas for all of these questions are available online, however you need a decent grasp of calculus and basic physics to understand how to properly apply them.

Additionally, you seem to be differentiating between acceleration and handling, when in fact they are the same thing. The "handling" part just happens to be lateral (and other) accelerations instead of forward acceleration.
