Message	on dealer prices. They look it up, and see that a 'new' oil pan is 500 bucks from the dealer. That fender is 500 bucks after dealer markup, etc. The dealer is going to charge for an engine pull for the oil pan, not the easy way. You might have luck trying to negotiate costs that way, with a different shop (which can usually work with them to keep costs down) so that it doesn't get totaled.
