| After our debacle with Sacramento Raceway last weekend (poor organization, understaffed, poor track prep), I've been in contact with their management who is willing to work with us on a negotiated rate for a private event there. My initial thoughts were that we start the year off fresh in 2008 and hop on Arnel's list early. ;-) What I'm looking for is an interest-level and semi-commitment for a private rental mid-January. The cost will depend on how many cars and what I can negotiate them down to, but I'm willing to take the ball and handle this. All you guys that came to watch last time I hope will consider racing. There were only 6 or so of us that raced, and we can't rent the track for 6 cars. Socal guys - would you be willing to trek back up here? Based on your response and commits, I would then open it up to other groups so that we balance the number of cars with the cost per car. For you guys with private event experience, how many cars is an upper limit so that you don't have to wait too long between runs? 50? 60? Thanks,
