and I do rock cheap parts with no worries. The tensioner isn't more critical because it's a hard part, but since it has moving parts. By my "unsound" logic, I could imagine the spring mechanism or bearings of a cheap tensioner pulley more prone to failure than a cheap timing belt. It's the same logic for why you shouldn't bother with a non-OEM water pump, since it has internal moving parts. The bearings in the non-OEM tensioner pulleys and idler pulleys are sure to be a worse quality than the OEM counterparts. I'm sure by your logic you could categorize a belt as a "moving part," but whatever. You can argue with my "unsound" logic all you want. All I'm saying is this: Not everything NEEDS to be OEM. If you want all OEM, go for it. More power to you. There are some parts where the "quality" of OEM parts is worth the extra money, while other parts (such as the coolant lines and gaskets you mentioned) make no difference whether they're off the Nissan shelf or the Pep Boys shelf, IMO.
