Subject	Need advice on transmission problem=======>

Message	I went to the dealer to have my JUN flywheel and a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing installed. When I went to pick it up, they told me they did not do the work because the mechanic heard a noise from the input shaft of the transmission. The dealer told me that it would be an additional $800 to replace the bearing. I listened and there is a slight noise when the clutch is let out. So here is where I need the advice. Do I fix it and hope they do not find anything else wrong or just wait until it totally fails and replace the whole trans?? I only drive the car about 3000 miles a year (mostly to and from the autocross) and it only has 80,000 miles on it. Thanks......Rich
