my 280Z and unscrewed the drivers pull to make it look like it was unlocked. That way a would-be thief would pull the door handle and thus fire the alarm (which screams burglar, burglar...)
It worked too. It fired while parked at a friends house late one evening. No damage and patrolling cops found the perp kids too.
