Message As appealing as that sounds, I can only offer that, month in and month out of 90%+ humidity in 90-100 degree temperatures is nearly just as enjoyable. When its so hot, sticky and wet outside that by the time you make it to your car you feel the need to immediately return home, take a shower and change your soggy undergarments and shirt just to get some semblance of comfort and to avoid the divisive side effects of copious amounts of ball-sweat...jock itch. When its so damn hot outside that your car reaches 140 degrees even in the late afternoon, in only the amount of time it takes to do a weeks worth of grocery shopping...and adding insult to injury every shiny metallic or dull black surface in your car reaches skin searing fajita-esque temperatures, fusing your skin to the car as if caramelizing some onions.

On the upswing, once you get used to the profuse sweating, thick air and carcinogenic solar radiation there are a few upsides, warm waters in which to swim or boat and short skirts year round with which to admire. The daily afternoon thunder storms are also a nice touch, aside from the whole destruction of electrical devices thing, they offer a nice change of pace and briefly cooler weather.

We also have the privilege of not having to rake leaves but once a year in May (When the leaves finally change, since the spring replacements force them out), year round employment for the lawn care technicians and air conditioning maintenance people. LOL Yeah, Florida is a real paradise... Haha Oh, well as much as I may complain I was born in Tampa, went to college locally and probably will never leave, except for vacations and weekend get-aways to Savannah. Be it ever so inferno like, its home.
