after i replaced #2 via dremel, couldn't get the z started. turns out i over-tightened the ecu and it wasn't seating properly. thanks goes to thunderz and ashman2k2, they were spot on in tech. now that the injectors are all in spec with new injector connectors, the TT feels so extra smoooth =) for those who were curious about those generic injector connectors, they work very well with a quick modification to the notch.
now i gotta figure out why my z is boosting to 13psi solid with no boost jets. perhaps a broken line to the wastegate solenoids? hmmm... but i'm lovin' the z once again! such a viscious cycle of rollercoaster emotions we all go thru with this damn car ;)
