Message	slide in with little effort. If it binds up or is hard to get into place it can damage the pilot bushing or needle bearing. What you put on the car is up to you. Everyone has their own opinions just like with underdrive pulleys. Some people claim they cause problems although I have installed and run them for 8+ years with no problems..lol.
