Message After hearing the conversation about the stock temp gauge not being able to show the change in temperature but an aftermarket one verifying the cooler temperature achieved, I think it's a smart thing to do.

If a modification creates a warmer temperature (even if only a little), wouldn't it be smart to at least compensate and bring it back down to a stock level? After reading about it, I feel that the two should go hand in hand (UD crank and OD water). Why rely another cooling measure to take up the slack where the OD could take care of it? (and more sensibly so when considering the UD pulley is the culprit in this case)

Just my two cents.
