how expensive a Z is to have? When reading the post I see a laundry list of modifications/upgrades. I'd say that 95% of the money I've spent on my Z has been voluntary. Only the small remainder has been required maintenance. The expense that I see most people complaining about is voluntary. Then they sell their Z and loose a huge portion of the money spent on it, because those mods/upgrades don't increase the value of the car a huge amount. What makes people think that if they get a different car, they'll stop spending money on it? Any car can have fancy wheels, suspension upgrades, nice paint jobs, etc. put on them. If you on a limited budget, and have a future to think about, clean the car up, and enjoy it as it is. In stock form, the z32 is pleasing to the eye and fun to drive. If you can't afford a clean basic Z, than you really can't afford to buy a fixer-upper, and mod the heck out of it. /rant
