Message I recently acquired a cherry red TT, and have been on the lookout for various parts at *ahem* lesser prices. The most recent purchase was totally off for me, as I usually research etc. before buying, however this time i was scanning ebay and found a set of wheels which i pictured in my head would look pretty nice - gold 5zigen FN01R-C's. Well, I have NO idea about anything when it comes to wheels, so i was really going out on a limb and on a hunch on this one, but i picked up the blemish-free used set for $530 shipped ( [ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=200162677963&rd=1 ] ). Well now I am trying to do the reverse role, was this a good deal and furthermore will they fit/look ok? I read through the FAQ wheel fitment guide and all aspects seem to be ok for fitment - they are 17x7 and 17x8 with 35mm offset. Yeah yeah i know, slightly skinnier than stock, but if this is a good deal i should keep them anyways? (or would they really look THAT bad?). Other thing I considered after thumbing around is that I couldnt find the FN01R-C in gold; only bronze, etc. I normall HATE gold anything, but for some reason the cherry red pearl seems like it will readily adopt such a color very gracefully. Opinions accepted, be it harsh or whatnot.

side note: I am having difficulty finding what size tires I need. I want my speedometer to work correctly, so any suggestions? I apologize asking something asked so frequently, but for some reason everything i read through regarding tires and wheels is really confusing to me - even after breaking down the technical limbo. I have read other posts recommending 235/45 for the 17x8 but does this take into account for offset etc? Thanks for the help.
