I would highly recomend picking up a set of used supersplits from the classifieds section of this web site. Folks are switching to 3 inch or going from 4 bolt to 5 bolt all the time, so used pipes are regularly available. The supersplits are much better than the original design and the inside of the china pipes are horrible. The china pipes are a huge leap over stock, but used supersplits are a huge leap over the china pipes.
