| I was actually debating on comping the clutch for you to try when you called. You told me you needed 800HP and TQ. capable. Our DXD-FX kit is conservatively rated at 725 ft.lbs/Tq This is the power level the clutch will last, drive easy and have a comfortable pedal pressure.
We could build a single disk to hold over 1000hp but we don't want a clutch that won't last, drive like shit and have a very stiff pedal. That's what DD clutches are for and what I recommended you to go with. The DXD-F with less clamp load on the pressure plate than the "X" series kit "IS" in a 700hp Z with over 15k on it and doing quit well. I would love to put my clutch in a 800hp car to prove the doubters. I have no doubt it would hold that power level in its stock un-modified form. You were just not the right person. Say hi to Greg for me!
