Diagnostics on the car themselves of what it could POSSIBLY be, then go to a pro. If that happened to me, i would go and get some warm water and clean off the terminals and connecters. If that didnt work, try another battery. If that didnt work, try a volt check. Then, at that point, when i know there can only be a FEW more things that could possibly go wrong, thats when i go to someone who knows more then i would on this subject. Just because you jumped the gun and called your mechanic, you shouldnt blame him. Be smarter and do your own diagnostic and stop just handing over cash and saying "FIX IT", you'll learn your car more and be more aware of situations that come up with your car and your friends (that is if you have any).
