All I have to say it was ugly for the Cobra and the poor guy had his girlfriend beside him. It was over by the time I shifted into second. As far as upgrades that he had at least an aftermarket exhuast that I was able to tell , and I have to say that it did sound quite good though. Here is the story I see he and his buddy cruising side by side in their Mustangs and I come up behind them. The Cobra sees me in his six and he hits it and takes off for a little. This gives me enough room to go around his buddy and the Cobra slows down and rolls down his window and says " I have always wanted to race a 300 TT and lets go". I say "are you sure you want to with your girlfriend beside you?" He replies "Yeah" I said "Ok" and we pull along the side of the road. He is in front and me behind and his buddy behind me and we wait for the light to switch to amber and the traffic to clear. That happens and I take the fast lane and he takes the curb lane. I am set at 1.2 bar ( about 17 lbs ) . He does a little smokey to heat up his tires and I just wait for the light. I notice that the opposite light switches to amber and he done his smoke show and ready to go. The light goes green and I launch perfectly very little wheel spin and I gradually pin it. As soon as I hit second I had alot more wheel spin then it hooked up and I was gone. I looked quickly beside me and I saw nothing, I shift into third and I looked into my rear view mirror and he had to have been about 4 to 6 car lengths behind. Once I saw that I hit my brakes and slowed down and I made sure he saw brake my lights. He past me and slowed right down and I caught up to him . This time I was on the passenger side of his car . We both stopped for a light and he said "why did you slow down?". I replied "because it was over" He said "Yeah I guess you are right. I knew those cars had 300 hp but I did not know that they were that fast" I told him that his car sounded really good and the light changed and he continued on. I did not want to let him know that I modified my car a little. This way he will think all 300 TT are that quick. Later Rohan
