You seem to be hanging on the, Well if the Z-06 is launched by a capable driver, if it's driven by a capable driver then it will do this, it will do that. From now until no one has ever heard of Vettes or Skylines it will be argued over which one is faster. The answer is who gives a shit? No matter what you say or your vette buddies, it's going to come down between the 2 drivers. One of them is going to be better than the other one. More than likely according to you I am sure the vette driver will be the most skilled.
Here, I will jump on my skyline soap box just to argue a battle of dumbshit.... I am willing to bet more Z-06's get their asses handed to them on the streets than Skylines. My reasoning? Your precious might be able to hook up fairly well at the track but on the street it's screwed. AWD launch, no traction issues from redlight to redlight the vette won't have enough time to catch it.
