no doubt, just kinda a bummer either way.. at least for me, i have an old laptop and looking into 7" touch screens to wire up to the Z, and i would love to use the ZEM but 600 bucks is alot of money for me at least, 300 sounds reasonable though... i realize that it was probably a long drive to develop that software but im sick of buying software because when i do, it never works right or the company goes under and i cant get support for it.. i think software should be included to drive the purchased hardware, just my opinion.. and i didnt know you did the programming and all the development on the ZEM, you must be a genius. :to do the same thing and let me know how much you would be willing to let it go for. :) :The hardware for the ZEM comes out to about $300 retail from my suppliers. The other $300 covers the software side of the product. :That $300 constitues 2 years of my time figuring out how our ECUs work to a level of capacity to actually change things without any guessing and with reliable, predictable results, then developing a system to allow the easiest method of making said adjustments for optimal performance. On top of that, add in the several years since its release that I have spent refining its design. :If you want to have tunability of your Z32 without using the ZEMualtor, you are more than welcome to purchase other systems such as the AEM EMS, which is priced ~over 2X this cost. I guarantee that you will not only be facing more extensive work to get the car running as well as using the ZEMulator nor will you get the first-hand support I provide for the product. :There's a lot more to that $600 for the ZEM than is meeting the eye. :)
