Message	accident in the making)...I lightly wipe (with paper towel) the small patch that has dust/gravel and is facing the camera to make it black. Not the whole tire tread and never sprayed over the whole thing either. But to be totally safe -- would be best to use a spray water bottle to mist any gravel and then wipe with a rag to clean...
