wear gloves get the car higher next time use a transmission jack. If you get the car high enough, you can take it out the front without a problem nixit blocks help along with jack stands for just in case.
oh yeah, wear gloves :-P monkey suits are great too. Mcmaster sells them for about 30 bucks and they are tough as nails yet comfortable. Great to keeping the grease off your skin and out of your open wounds
