Message Besides the fact that things take too long to get to my country, there were problems with the owner of the shop, the slowed even more some stuff and problems with lots of the parts, like the main and rod bearings...Since we bought a Nismo crankshaft, we needed bigger tolerance bearings and they weren't available in the US, so we had to wait around 2 and a half months since they were on backorder...After that, they were shipped to Miami, were the importer was gonna bring them to Peru...It's been 2 months and they still in Miami.
Also, I ordered ARP main and head bolts, rod bolts, cometic metal headgaskets, JWT heavy duty springs and other stuff like 4 months already...Long story short, the importer lost the parts and they will have to buy them back and I will have to wait even more!!
Problems like this have happened during all the project...I'm already tired of all this and sometimes I wish I never started the project, but there's no way I can give up now...Sadly, I love Z's too much and I want to have a very powerful one :(
On the other hand, I already have a lot of the stuff to built the car, like Z1 SMIC's, labree exhaust, ported heads, Wiseco forged pistons, new oil pump, Nismo crankshaft complete gasket kit and some other stuff.
First I'll be building the Z with stock turbos and injectors since I'll be broke for some time, but hopefully in a year or two after the built I'll be getting 740cc injectors, 300 degree fuel rails, some nice turbos (not sure wich ones yet, but something like the 530BB's) and maybe some MS manis...Time will tell...First I wanna drive my blue Z again.
