If you were selling something and he wanted to buy it, would you hold it for him long enough for him to have multiple conversations and do a background check on you? What if your post history was not enough to convince him? Heck, what if references were not enough either? Milo certainly had a good rep at one time. What would you expect him to do before making a purchase from you? How long would you wait? If he bought from you after the first e-mail, would you call him stupid and gullible? As for the quote you gave, the only way to make it relevant is for him to never use paypal again for purchases. I use it all the time and I haven't been burned yet. Paypal is not the issue here.
