Where do you keep getting these phrases and why do you continue to think you understand what they mean? They aren't even valid within the context of this conversation or situation. So you're saying don't do business with other tt.net members. Because pretty much the only way most of us can tell how a seller is "legit" or not is by their forum character. We judge people by their character, and forum character says a lot less about a person, but it's really all we have to go on most of the time. So, should we say goodbye to the forum classifieds? Or only conduct business if the buyer and seller actually agree to meet? Because to me, that's the only way I see to not get burned. Look at the volume of purchases and sales Tuner_D makes, vs. the number of times he's been burned. Don't worry, your time will come. So let's have a little Literature/History/Philosophy/Language lesson here for a minute, Plato. Here's the literature/philosophy part: "Don't judge, or you too will be judged." Matthew 7:1 Now for the History/Language part: The actual Greek meaning for that phrase is to relay the understanding that as soon as you pass judgment on someone, you too will fall under that same circumstance or hardship, because you clearly have a lack of empathy/sympathy/understanding. (This also explains a lot about politicians) Good luck!
