Anyone here know anything about labor laws? What i was told, though i have not confirmed, was that only management level (or supervisor level) can be paid on a salary base and that any entry level person would have to paid by hourly and get paid for overtime. I'm not sure if this is a Federal Law or NJ State law. The reason i'm asking was i told someone how i would work countless overtime hours and not get paid since i was on salary. They told me that since i was a entry level personal, i should have been paid by the hour and it was illegal for the company to put me on salary. If this is the case then i'm going to have to file a law suite (ZR part: i get to pay for mods and a beater) for this. If anyone could e-mail me any advise or post a link to labor laws that's in simple understanding i would deeply appreciate it.
