Message use charcoal lighter fluid (stuff you use for grilling). The stuff costs like 2 bucks a half gallon and it wont hurt any plastic it comes in contact with. Charcoal lighter fluid has the same active ingediant as WD40, rubber cement thinner, or goo gone. Its just heaps cheaper. Nail Polish Remover (even the non acetone type) will burn and melt plastics it comes in contact with. I dont suggest using it on your car.
