I haven't installed it, or know of anybody that has installed it, so I can't talk from personal experience on those terms, but I can tell you how a Stage III cooling system reacts at the track. These are all experiences that I saw with my own eyes, and not from what somebody on TT.net that said it happened to their brothers friend who lives down the street who has a cousin, who's roomate has a Z.... All Stage III Temperatures ~90F+ (some cars overheated at lower temperatures) Typically 80% water with Water Wetter. At the Thunderhill Raceway, ([ www.Thunderhill.com ]) Willows,CA (first/second timers at the track typically don't push their cars as hard as veteran seventh timers, so some of the people that haven't overheated, 80%+ of those were probably first timers) Stock radiator & stock oil cooler ~3 of 4 overheated Stock radiator & Stillen oil cooler ~3 of 3 overheated (of of them was me) Euro radiator & Stillen oil cooler 1 of 1 overheated Euro radiator & 19 row Earls oil cooler 1 of 1 overheated Border radiator & Stillen oil cooler 2 of 3 over heated These are all experiences from our 35+ track driving SF Bay Area Club Z members.
It all depends on your application and the temperatures of your location, but for the conditions I listed above, an FMIC would be suicide. The car already overheats with an aftermarket rad, and oil cooler. If you only drive it on the streets in Canada, then cool.
If you wish to prove me wrong, more power to you, and good luck, but I think the odds are heavily in my favor. Cheers, Lee Darzycki
