| 5+ years. Ya start to learn stuff. Crazy, I know :-) My black Z came with 245s on 7.5" wheels, so a 255 on a 8" wheel isn't gonna be bubbled. Wet traction is correlated to width for tires of the same tread pattern. Some tires which I know to have good wet traction are: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Bridgestone Potenza S-O3 (out of production AFAIK, with very limited sizes) Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S (just bought a set of these barely used, haven't mounted and tested yet, but TireRack.com says they're great) After a little more digging, my size suggestions were sort of a tire utopia, as I'm finding 275 and 265's in a 35 series aren't made (or are REALLY unpopular). A 275/40 would be a tad big per this site, but has more options than the 265/40 tire. Here are tire rack's options for a combo of a 245/45 and a 275/40 set up. Ultra High Performance All Season rankings I'd suggest something in the UHP All Season category, for better treadwear. These would be my recommendations But that's just my input. Research for yourself, and search tire names on here for other feedback.
