Message	The basic harness is a connection between the actual engine harness to the ECU, hence its an extension. The purpose of this is so you don't have to mess with your main harness. (ie. Splicing, cutting, etc. ). The picture you have, the manufacturer already did the work for the SAFC2 connection. One thing to note of course is you have to know which wire to use for other accessories. I hope this makes sense.
