Here I was, not 3/4 hours ago surfing tt.net when the doorbell rang. It's my neighbor, walking his dog: "Dude, I just saw some guy going through your car!"
Sure enough:
So he and I split up, I jump in the car (with sliced roof bits dangling in my face) to check out the 'hood.
Sure enough, a block over there's a Chevy Celebrity slowly cruising the back alleys, stopping while the passenger jumps out and checks out parked cars. I spin around the block and park at the end of the alley. They emerge, and I get the car, driver description, plate and spin back home.
Call 911, cops are there in 10 minutes. Give my report, and they are now on the hunt. Last saw the greaseballs slowly heading north, still checking out cars, hopefully they nail the cocksuckers.
Other than the roof and headliner, damage is minimal:
All that's missing is my XM roady and some change. Found the Nakamichi faceplate undamaged in the rubbish. Stereo works.
