of JDM Zs imported into Canada are going to affect our premiums. A clean 1990 TT can go for $12-17k. A clean 1995 TT can probably go for $20k. However JDM Zs (1990-1992 for now. Each year the next year of the Z is allowed per the 15-year rule) go for about $10k. People are actually fool enough to buy them. Everyone wanted to be different so they started bringing in R32 Skylines, and look, now they are everywhere in Montreal. IMHO, these RHD Zs just aren't the same. First off, the condition of the car cannot be guaranteed since they do not have the same kind of vin numbers and mileage cannot be certified upon importation. Secondly, these cars usually seem more beat up and in really crappy condition. They just do not have the same glow upon them.
Sig begins here: ZEngineer: I just hope those exhaust tips aren't gonna give me a hard time going through the opening Aqualung: Do you have a pic of your rear? ZEngineer: Dude! That's just perverted! Aqualung: Holy Sh*t! What did I just say??? BigTDogg(MA): That car earns the owner a TON of trophies at shows I'm sure. It'll also earn him one jab to the testicles if I ever meet him in person.
