Message These are words from a former rx7 owner. I think he said it was a 95 with 30k original miles and it was an absolutely mint body.

The rotary engines are great, however you have to be very diligent when owning them. Once you start up the car, make sure it warms up completely before shutting it down. Start and warm up the car every single day. Failure to do so can cause premature engine failure i.e. the apex seals go bad.

Again, those aren't my words, they are his. He paid roughly 15 grand for the car IIRC and after searching for quite a while, he found someone that was knowledgeable enough to swap out the engine. 30k original miles and the seals were gone from sitting so long. I believe he said he got another engine and had the guy rebuild it.

Best of luck to WickedZX. They are nice cars, but I wouldn't want to own one, at least one with the rotary still in it.
