Message	[ http://zhome.com/History/timeline.html ] The owner of mine added a 5 spd out of a later 280z to it in 1995. Honestly there isn't much of a difference in the rpms from the 4spd to 5spd MT, maybe 400rpms at 65mph. I started liking the 75 b/c its smog exempt in cali and its the first fuel injected s30, so I can work on it but they had the 4spd MT until 1977. 2 Z's, 2 sigs.....whatever.
