| I recently spun my car on the interstate and ran into the rear bumper of a semi truck. I was merging from the on-ramp in damp conditions when I lost control of the car. I was unable to correct the oversteer until after the collision. I don't have collision insurance on the car; however, I do have the money to fix the car. The estimate for all brand new parts is $7,150 with $4,000 worth of OEM parts. The estimate for used parts is $4,650, assuming I provide the parts, or maybe $800 (total~$5,400) more if the body shop supplies the parts. The rest of the car is in descent shape, a 1990 with ~100,000 miles. It has a borla exhaust and a JWT pop-charger, no other modifications. I need to replace injector number 5 and fix a small power steering leak. The car drives well. I still drive it a couple times a week. It was driven for 4 hours on the interstate a week after the accident. I have two questions: 1) Is it worth fixing? It will be a chop and weld repair. The body shop seems to be a good one. I asked around for recommendations. It seems like cars with this kind of damage end up as parts cars. Is this normally the case? 2) Can 2+2 body parts be used, or just 2 seater body parts. I know that the 2+2's length dimension is longer than the standard length. The plan is to restore the car to its original factory appearance. I've never really been a fan of the body kit. Any recommendations? I'm located in West Palm Beach, FL. Here are two pictures:

In advance, thanks for the advice.
