Subject	Suction cups in the trunk????

Message	I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the 2 suction cups are underneath the carpet on the left side in the trunk. I just noticed them today after having the car for 3 years! I am guessing that they have something to do with the T-tops? I Have checked the owners manual and the service manual, but connot find any reference to them. Just curious. Sam
