Message	I bought a 98 Blazer from a family friend that had a salvage title due to theft. No problems titling or insuring it at all. Helped a friend bring a totaled 91 Miata back to life. Had a salvage title from out of state which I'm sure made it even more difficult than it should have been. All he had to do was repair it and set up a one-time special inspection (regular NJ inspections after that). IIRC after all said and done, the fees came to about $300 including initial registration (with sales tax) and special inspection fee. His insurance company had no problem insuring it with just liability, but would not let him get collision coverage. don't know if that was just his company or some kind of law, though.
