After tank 91 I was stage III. This is an old chart but the recent stuff is just more of the same. I get 18.7 MPG with the driving I do. Frankly, after discussions with people on this board, I don't trust anybody's MPG estimates except my own. People seem to compute their MPG once or twice, throw out the low values, and cite only the biggest value, followed by "is what I get". As you can see, lots of cars fluctuate greatly on their MPG. I keep track of every tank, and I have since 2001, when I bought my cars. If you want better MPG, buy a fuel-efficient daily driver. I recommend against optimizing your tires for MPG because you will be sacrificing both grip and tire life.
