Message I've received 3 submissions already, which is terrific being only one week into this process. My thanks go out to all of y'all that participate each year.

Everyone else, we have a great holiday weekend before us. Good weather and free time, the perfect combination to get out and have some fun shooting the Z.

As always if anyone has any questions or concerns feel free to get in touch with me, and I will be happy to help out/answer any questions. I will be down in the keys from this evening through Monday on a shoot/vacation but will be checking email in the evening at the hotel. I should actually have the calendar info page go live on Tuesday the 3rd, so keep an eye out. [ www.downshiftonline.com/calendars/Z32-300ZX ]

***** Submission Guidelines ******-------------------

1.) Image Quality: Please submit images of no less than 5 mega-pixels. 6MP or 3008 x 2000 is the ideal size image.

2.) Content: While I think we can all appreciate the female form, please do not make submissions featuring a "model" of any sort. Please remember these calendars are intended to be office friendly.

3.) Composition: Please do not submit photos of your car taken in your driveway. While some of you have terrific houses and lawns, the point of the calendar is inspiration through design (The Z) and composition (The Background). Please try and submit photos with interesting thematic backgrounds. Seasonal works great, a perfect example being

This photo inspires me every time I see it. (Living in Florida I can only dream of seasonal variation like that!)

4.) Quantity: We need several images of your car, not just one. Please provide no less than 4 images and no more than 8.

5.) Its all in the details, please be sure to include with your submission a completed spec sheet/photo release. Without this your submission cannot be considered for the calendar. As simple as it sounds, please also be SURE to include your name/screen name with your photo submissions. The spec sheet/photo release can be found as an xls file, here. On Monday I will also have a PDF version available you can print and fax back to us if that is easier.

File Submission: Photos and submissions forms can be submitted any one of three ways.

• Email: Please email your submissions to: calendar.uploads@downshiftonline.com

• FTP: I always suggest using email for ease of use, but for those of you savvy enough please fee free to use the following FTP account. If you are using FTP I ask that you archive your photo submissions and completed form into a .rar or .zip archive. Please do not place unarchived files on the server. Once you have logged in via your FTP client you will find a folder labeled "2K8_Z32 Calendar Submissions", create your own subdirectory and place your zip or rar file here.
