So here is the deal, read ALL the stuff in the tech pages carefully. I am a student also and I would consider myself as an amateur when it comes to mechanical repairs (not after I did my 120k maintenance). Get the parts from concept Z (I did the UR underdrive pulley upgrade). If you are a student like me find a friend who has a house and a garage or look on craiglslist into renting out a garage for a week or so. Its not that hard although very overwhelming in the beginning. You will definately need a torque wrench and a tool to pull out the camshaft seals. Its like a long thick wire with a little hook on the end. Make sure you have something to drip the oil and coolant into. I even did the valve cover gaskets myself when I was doing this. All I can say is if you have some time, do it yourself and you will learn a LOT....its one thing to have it done but when you do it yourself it just makes you feel so good.....plus you save money. Goodluck and if you get stuck just ask specific questions here and someone will help you....You have the most powerful resource tt.net at your findertips ...use it.
P.S. keep track of all the parts you remove and the bolts you remove, its easy to get lost there....Goodluck
