Then you ended with "it's still for sale." What did you expect the comments to be? I think collegeboy's reaction was just the same visceral reaction many of us had. Clean it up, THEN take pictures. It's a nice car in fair shape. No big dents, etc. You obviously like it a lot. Why not keep it? As for the shifter knob, scrape the coating off and get some polyurethane dip from Lowes. Comes out looking just like new.
