Subject	half way into my light up 300zx panel, need ideas

Message	ok, got my rear panel open fine. run neon cable around the letters and before i put it together, i turned it on just to check it out. the damn cable shines right through the friggin panel! i thought id paint the piece with a few layers of black paint, but i dont kow. i cant go get paint till tommorrow anyway, so i cant even try it now if i wanted to. but whats a fellow to do? i kinda put the 2 pieces together as far as i could without putting it together completely, and it doesnt look much better. this is the only thing thats getting me right now, so any ideas are very very very good. and its starting to rain and id rather no have a garbage bag taped to the rear of my car. thanks
