Message	...'temporary' resident when I first got here. Basically said I was in school and they didn't seem to mind. When I did switch everything over I just threw the stock cats on for smog and leave the precats on for day to day use as you only need to smog once every two years. I have no front plate and tinted windows up front so I'm probably asking for trouble but I'm just concientious around CHP which seems to be the only police who care. You are probably going to be fine. Throw some chicken wire to temporarily put a front plate on when you register it b/c I think dmv checks the plate initially.
