Ok, so I always here about how strict it is having a "fixed up" car in California, but I personaly have never dealt with it, so I have no idea. I have heard all sorts of nightmares about people getting puled over there, and getting huge tickets or getting their cars crushed or impounded if they are missing emissions stuff. I am not sure though if those rumors are true or not, but am just curious if anyone here has some insight. My car isn't really THAT bad in my opinion...I mean it has cats on it, but besides that there realy is no emmisions on it. Plus I know many things such as aftermarket EMS and stuff are also for off road use only...especialy in Cali. In Texas it's easy to get away with it, and I know in Hawaii it won't be too tricky either, but I am very concerned about California, and am curious to see what you all out there with fixed up cars in Cali do to deal with it, or if you just follow all the rules. Maybe some people that actually live there can give me some insight, cause if they are too strict, I don't mind just leaving the Z in storage and driving around around in my crappy truck for those 2 years. However, I would obviously love to be able to enjoy my Z there during that time instead. Thanks for reading.
